Every body in the register carries the statute it answers to, the deadline that statute sets, and the routes it takes requests on — federal, state, and now the international layer for records held outside the United States. Counties and cities are covered through their state's law — the counts are on the coverage page.

The number is the statutory deadline in days. A dash means the statute sets none and requires production within a reasonable time.

The defence, aviation and archive bodies outside the United States most relevant to UAP records, each under its own country’s access law. Several — GEIPAN, Italy’s Aeronautica Militare, Chile and Uruguay’s standing commissions — publish their case files proactively, which is often faster than any request.

A hand-compiled layer, not an import: routes marked unconfirmed have not been proven by a delivered letter, and Aletheca cannot yet originate a request outside the United States — the records here are for reading and routing.

Where Aletheca has actually filed

A scorecard is a measurement of our own correspondence, so it exists only for bodies we have filed with. Every figure is computed from requests whose full text is public and therefore auditable — none of it comes from an agency’s self-reported Annual FOIA Report, and the two are never merged.
